  • Jordan Brand and BMX pro Nigel Sylvester have teamed up once again, this time putting a fresh twist on the Air Jordan 1 Low OG. Called “Better With Time”, this release is more than just a sneaker. It’s a reflection of Sylvester’s journey — one defined by persistence, passion, and the beauty of aging well.

The upper is dressed in premium black tumbled leather with subtle distressing throughout, echoing the natural scuffs Nigel earns while riding without brakes. A muslin-colored Swoosh, cream laces, and a pre-yellowed midsole give the shoe a vintage look, while a varsity red outsole adds contrast and a pop of heritage-inspired color.

Branding details bring the story full circle. You’ll find a mini Swoosh on the toe, “Bike Air” branding on the tongue and insole, and a nod to Sylvester’s journey with “Jordan Biking Co. EST. 2017” printed inside. Even the packaging gets special treatment, featuring custom bike-themed graphics and co-branding throughout.

  • From BMX Streets to Jordan Brand Collabs

This isn’t Nigel’s first go-round with Jordan Brand, but it might be his most complete offering yet. While his highly coveted Air Jordan 1 High OG sample never released to the public, it laid the foundation for what we see today — sneakers that embrace scuffs, wear, and imperfection as part of the story.

“Better With Time” is Nigel’s first official Air Jordan 1 Low OG collaboration, and it leans heavily into the theme of lived-in authenticity. The shoe represents a sneaker that’s earned its character over time, just like its creator. It also continues Jordan Brand’s focus on storytelling through product, which has become a hallmark of its most celebrated collabs.

  • The Air Jordan 1 Low OG silhouette tends to run true to size, but as always, small details can make a big difference in comfort. Here’s a breakdown of what to expect.

    Sizing Tips

    • True to size is recommended for most people

    • Wide footers may want to go up half a size for extra comfort

    • Minimal break-in time thanks to soft tumbled leather
