LA FLAME AND NIKE RETURN!
Following the Astroworld tragedy, the Swoosh brand suspended the La Flame releases indefinitely, including the Air Max 1 and Air Trainer 1. However, it has now been reported that the Travis Scott x Air Max 1 will hit the shelves in May, following the release of official imagery. This Air Max 1 collaboration features two colorways: “Baroque Brown” and “Saturn Gold”.
Design, Materials, & Colorwwy
Tinker Hatfield’s famous running shoe, the Air Max 1 features an outdoors-themed webbed upper with La Flame’s twist. Nubuck tongue, mudguard, and overlays add to the outdoor aesthetic of the shoe with a reversed swoosh on the lateral side, while the medial swoosh faces the correct direction.

The top eye-stays and heel panel feature Nike pocket knife-inspired straps with the roped lacing system. The design finishes off with a CACTUS CORPORATION branding on the outsole. “Baroque Brown” is dressed in a Lemon Drop, Wheat, Chile Red, and Baroque Brown colors, while the “Saturn Gold” colorway is a tonal design featuring Saturn Gold, Tea Tree Mist, and Tent colors.
