A COLLAB CELEBRATING TOGETHERNESS!
For the entirety of 2022, Nike has made sure to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Air Max 1 silhouette in remarkable fashion with a plethora of collaborative and in-line releases.
For June, Nike has teamed up with Korean-based streetwear brand, Kasina, to commemorate their 25 year journey by creating two masterful iterations of the iconic Air Max silhouette.
Design, Materials, & Colorway
Inspired by “Won-Ang” ducks, (wooden figurines given to newlywed couples as a symbol of togetherness) the two colorways masterfully merge rich colors, symbolic design elements, and plush materials to create a unforgettable take on Tinker Hatfield’s famous running shoe.

As far as the materials, both feature a rich mixture of tumbled leather, suede, fur, and other synthetic textiles that are expertly placed throughout the shoe. From our vantage point, each pair looks to be a perfect fall or winter shoe, but at any rate, both would be impressive choices to be worn at any point of the year.
Taking a deeper look at each shoe, you’ll quickly notice the many other special design features unique to the collection. Below are a few of the more notable inclusions:
