2022 Air Jordan 4 Retro "Black Canvas"

A Stealthy Air Jordan 4 Colorway Coming Fall 2022

The Air Jordan 4 is returning in early Fall 2022 in a brand-new colorway that at first glance may remind you of the legendary EMINEM 4s. With the success of previous AJ4 releases like the “Military Black” being the benchmark, will this highly-anticipated release be another smash-hit for Jordan Brand?

Colorway, Materials, And Design

For this release, Jordan Brand has opted to go with a monochromatic color scheme that’s dominated by black and accented with grey, white, and red.

As the shoe’s name suggests, instead of traditional leather, the upper is adorned in an all-black canvas material that is contrasted by a subtle black suede hit across the toe for added texture and premium touch.

Rounding out the design is the black, grey, and white, midsole with red appearing on the tongue branding and insole Jumpman logo.

Release Date And Pricing Info:

The Air Jordan 4 “Black Canvas” is set to drop in October 2022 at most major retailers for the normal cost of $200 for adult pairs.

The Air Jordan 4

Sneaker History

The Air Jordan 4 was originally released back in 1989 and was another model designed by world-renowned sneaker designer, Tinker Hatfield.

The shoe dropped in four OG colorways and retailed for a steep $100 at the time. The iconic mesh netting that appeared on the side of the shoe is one of the trademark designs of the model, and was used to reduce the overall weight of the shoe fo Michael Jordan’s request.

Fast forward to today, and the Air Jordan 4 remains one of the most sought after silhouettes out of the entire Jordan lineup. Used as the canvas for multiple brand and artist collaborations, the AJ4 has cemented itself in sneaker history as one of the best.
