Wmns Air Jordan 11 Retro Low "Pure Violet"

TO ALL THE LADIES IN THE PLACE….

Every Summer, lady sneakerheads are granted a women’s-exclusive Air Jordan 11 low release that arrives just in time for those Sunday brunches and day parties.

This year’s exclusive release will be the crisp “Pure Violet” colorway which features a traditional mix of the materials we’ve come to expect on the classic silhouette. The upper is comprised of a white upper that is accented by the “pure violet” patent leather mudguard that wraps around the entire shoe.

Rounding out the shoe’s design is the “pure violet” branding, white mid-sole, and icy-blue outsole. For now, there’s no word on this release coming housed in any special packaging, so expect the shoes to come in the normal black Jumpman box.

The Air Jordan 11

Sneaker History

The Air Jordan 11 was originally released back in 1996 and was designed by world-renowned sneaker designer, Tinker Hatfield. At the time of its release, the AJ11 was undoubtedly a groundbreaking sneaker that recalibrated what basketball shoes could be aesthetically.

Featuring a patent leather mudguard, the silhouette was another of MJ’s signature shoes that was inspired by an automobile. The mesh upper was also a first for the shoe and offered lightweight, yet sturdy support to the one-of-a-kind shoe.
