Jordan Brand And Visual Artist, Nina Chanel Abney, Create Two New Air Jordan 2 Colorways!

The spotlight has been on the Air Jordan 2 here in 2022 thanks to a number of upcoming collaborative releases from Jordan Brand's top design partners. For July, a new addition to the collab lineup, Chicago-born artist Nina Chanel Abney, will be putting her creative stamp on the classic silhouette by presenting two clever new iterations.

High-Top Version

For the materials, the Nina Chanel x Air Jordan 2 features white leather with reptile texture overlays and suede at the toes and heels. Other details include a red heel counter, black shoelaces, and a special hangtag featuring Abney's art. Rounding out the design is the vintage-style sail midsole that sits atop a red and grey rubber outsole.

Low-Top Version

For the low-top version, the model switches the red accents found on the high-top with green and swaps the black laces with white. All the materials are consistent with the high-top variant and the vintage sail midsole also remains.

Special packaging and additional sets of laces will also be a part of this release, adding additional prestige and creative flair to the project.
