Arguably one of the hottest collab shoes of the year, this premium Air Force 1 iteration was designed by CLOT – the Asian streetwear and lifestyle brand founded by Edison Chen– in collaboration with Nike Sportswear.
The upper of the shoe is comprised of tearaway patterned silk material, that reveals a patterned leather material if removed. Aside from silk, the shoe also includes a variety of leather elements such as the tongue, Nike swooshes, and shoe liner.
According to sources, the shoe’s dual-layer feature was used to represent the balance of externalism and internalism. A remarkable concept for a retro basketball sneaker.
Rounding out the shoe’s stellar design is the white midsole and gum outsole, that add a nice level of pop to contrast with the shoe’s radiant upper.
