The preceding “Shattered Backboard” Air Jordan 1s were released back in 2015 and 2016. Both were popular, comprised of top-notch leather, and both had orange and black in their color blocking.
This time around, Jordan brand has decided to switch things up a bit and feature an entirely different material texture for the Shattered Backboard 3.0. Some say the crinkled glossy material is made to resemble shattered glass. While this hasn’t been confirmed, it’s definitely a possibility.
Hate it or love it, there’s no way to change things now, so expect these shoes to make their arrival on October 26, 2019.
