The Jordan 1 Backstory

The Air Jordan 1 is a retro basketball shoe from Jordan brand that was originally released by Nike back in 1985. It was Michael Jordan’s first signature shoe and has been one of Jordan Brand’s most popular silhouettes for the past few years.

Materials and Colorway

This High ‘85 iteration of the Jordan 1 is constructed to look as close to the original shoe as possible and will include the normal materials that we’ve find on many of the OG colorways.

Red and black leather make up the shoe’s upper, while the tongue is constructed of the usual nylon material.

Lastly, a white midsole and red outsole help bring contrast to the shoes design and completes the look.

Release and Resell Predictions

If you’re plugged into the sneaker scene then you already know how this release is going to go. Plenty of folks will be wearing sad faces on release day.

If you’re fortunate to get your hands on 1 or more of the 23,000 pairs that are supposed to drop, then consider yourself lucky and in a position to profit big if you intend to resell.

It should go without saying that this shoe will be extremely profitable on the resell market and will only increase in value over the long-term. Hold or flip, it’s up to you. You won’t lose either way.
