The Shoes

Last year’s women’s Jordan 11 was a complete fail for Jordan Brand and they’re looking to get back on track with this year’s eye-catching iteration.

Dropping just a couple weeks before the highly anticipated “Bred” 11s, this women’s exclusive Air Jordan 11 “Silver Metallic” has all the glitz and glam you’d expect from a holiday sneaker release.

MATERIALS

Instead of the iconic patent leather that traditionally makes up the Jordan 11 mudguard, Jordan brand opted to go with a glittery silver metallic material as the shoe’s primary design feature.

Not only does the mudguard material add plenty of visual interest to an otherwise simple colorway, but it also creates Christmas ornament vibes like non of its predecessors have done before.

As far as the rest of the shoe, everything looks to be fairly traditional, however, special touches like the metal Jumpman logos and stitched “23” emblems on the heel round out the shoes design and add.

Release Predictions:

how will they sell?

The “Silver Metallic” 11s will be releasing after a busy “Black Friday” weekend that will see the Air Jordan 1 “Bloodline” and Black Yeezy 350v2 release.

Although the aforementioned shoes will most certainly headline the weekend, I suspect the “Silver Metallic” 11s to hold their own and do numbers as well.

Not only does this shoe have a decent colorway, but it's on an iconic silhouette that's being released during the holiday season, which means demand will be higher than normal and lead to higher sales numbers.

will they have resell value?

If you’re able to get your hands on pairs before release or sell before release, you may be able to squeeze minimal profits out of sizes above 10W/8.5M. This is all because men with smaller feet are able to fit these sizes, which increases demand slightly.

Usually I would recommend using in-store coupons to help increase profits, but most retailers except Finishline, restrict the use of coupons on Air Jordan 11 Retros.

How To Cop:

This will be a GR (general release) so you can expect almost all major sneaker retailers to have these available for sell on a first come, first served basis.

Based on my prediction that this shoe will not sellout on the first day, so you shouldn’t worry about being able to cop this sneaker unless you’re going for a size over 10W/8.5M.

In addition, the shoes will be available on the Nike SNKRS app.
