Materials & Build Quality
The Photon Dust suede upper feels soft and luxurious, but it’s also noticeably delicate. It’s the kind of material that looks amazing on foot but probably shouldn’t be worn in harsh weather. Every panel feels carefully constructed, and the color blocking allows those premium textures to shine.
This pair doesn’t feature the quilted lining found in some of AMM’s other collabs, but it still maintains a high-end feel thanks to thoughtful material choices throughout.
How Is The Sizing and Comfort?
Here’s my take on the fit:
True Fit Preference: I usually wear a size 12 in most Jordans, but for the Jordan 5, I prefer a half-size down for a more snug and secure fit. I went with an 11.5 in this pair, and it feels just right.
Comfort: Not the lightest Jordan, but still solid for everyday casual wear. The internal padding helps, but it doesn’t have the plush feel of modern footwear options.
Break-In Time: Very little. They’re wearable right out of the box.
If you like a tighter fit or plan to wear thinner socks, going down a half-size might work well for you too.
