2022 Women’s Nike Air Max 1 “Plum Fog”

Short Answer: Superb!
I’m biased towards Air Max 1s, but when I first saw this shoe I was blown away. This is one of the best iterations of the silhouette I’ve seen in a while. Nike is celebrating the 35th anniversary of the first Air Max in a major way in 2022.
From the materials, design details, and colors. This is a true 10/10 sneaker in my opinion. The design team responsible for this drop deserves a raise.

Short Answer: Flawless
There were no issues with the pair that I purchased, but keep in mind, that your experience may be different due to inconsistencies with Nike’s quality control measures.
I didn’t notice any loose threads or glue stains on either pair so that’s a positive. Also, the TPU covering was applied to the upper masterfully.

Short Answer: Interesting
Leather: The leather quality is fairly basic on this pair and feels synthetic as opposed to the plush tumbled variety found on other Nike Products.
Synthetic Uppers: The upper is dominated by the multi-colored TPU material that covers what looks to be leather and mesh panels. It’s pretty flexible but provides no ventilation.
Polyester runs across the ankle collar and a typical textile covers the interior lining of the shoe.
Translucent Outsole: The purple outsole is semi-translucent.

Although I wasn’t able to personally wear this shoe, I can speak from experience with other Air Max 1 models to say that they are fairly comfortable and suitable for moderate casual wear.
The midsole isn’t the softest by today’s standards, but it does provide ample cushioning for running errands and kickin’ up dust on the weekends.

I saw this sneaker pop-up on IG, so I decided to purchase it directly through the Soleclassics IG shop. The process was simple and the shipping was quick.
I had no prior experience with the Ohio-based retailer but decided to give them a shot. I have no complaints about the experience.
