After Years Of Speculation, The “Yellow Toe” AJ1 Is Finally Here!
After years of speculation, the mythical “Yellow Toe” Air Jordan 1 is finally making its way to the spotlight in late Summer 2022.
A close relative to the “Bred Toe” and “Shattered Backboard“ Air Jordan 1 colorway that was last released several years ago, this “Yellow Toe” iteration brings one of the best color-blocking schemes ever used on the classic silhouette.
Materials, Colorway, and Design!
Dressed in a Taxi, Black, and Sail the upper is comprised of what looks to be a high-quality cut of tumbled leather that supposedly rivals what was found on the aforementioned “Shattered Backboard” release. The bright shade of yellow appears on the toe, heel, and outsole, while sail appears on the side-panel and midsole.
Destined to be one of the best AJ1 colorways for the year, you can expect this sneaker to be in high demand on release day.

Although Air Jordan 1 hype has been waning as of late, you can still expect these to fly off shelves on release day.
You must put in your footwork to ensure you cop a pair for retail.
For the last couple of years, it has been nearly impossible for manual buyers to cop hyped sneakers from the Footlocker and Champs websites. If you want to give it a shot, be sure to be on the site about 10-15 minutes before the queue goes live, and cross your fingers for good luck.
Nike SNKRS app
Have your Nike SNKRS account ready to go ahead of the release by adding your payment and shipping info before the release.
I foresee most stores that will carry this release in-store to release them via a raffle - whether ticket or app. I would definitely recommend that you call your local store for specific details.
Generally speaking, the Air Jordan 1 fits comfortably at true-to-size or maybe even a tad long.
I personally wear a US12 in most Jordan and Nike sneakers, but I opt to go down a half-size in Jordan 1s. This is mainly because I like to wear my shoes untied and I want to reduce the infamous toe-creasing that can occur when you wear your AJ1s too big.
