Yet Another Twist Comes to the 350v2
Following the Adidas x Yeezy “Yeezy Day” explosion, the duo is turning up the head again with the release of the Yeezy 350v2 “Light” which will introduce yet another new design feature to the ever-evolving silhouette. If you’ve felt the 350v2 releases have been boring lately, this variation may change your mind.
Change Is Good, Right?
As with most of the most recent Yeezy 350v2 releases, this iteration doesn’t get too creative with the overall color palette. The Primeknit upper is mostly white, with a muted-yellow panel on the upper lateral side of the shoe, but the highlight of this shoe is the monofilament stipe that also appears on the medial side.
Indoors, the medial stripes blends in with the rest of the shoe and doesn’t offer much visual interest, but step outside and that’s where the normalcy ends. Once under direct sunlight from the Sun, the monofilament stripe gradually changes to a darker yellowish orange color which is missing from the shoe.
For the rest of the shoe, the boost midsole is still present and encapsulated by a creamy yellow semi-transparent housing. Internally, the Adidas and Yeezy branding is in red on the white insole.
