Jordan Adds Another Precious Metal To The Air Jordan 6 For Fall 2022!
The Air Jordan 6 is a classic silhouette with loads of nostalgia attached, so it’s no surprise that Jordan Brand is releasing iterations that flip the colors of one of the “DMP” colorway that was re-released back in 2020. This go-round, Jordan Brand adds silver accents to this upcoming iteration that’s scheduled for a Fall-2022 release date.
Design, Materials, And Colorway
It doesn’t get much more simple than this when it comes to colors and materials. The Air Jordan 6 “Metallic Silver” will feature an all-black nubuck upper that is accented by hits of “metallic silver” that will appear on the tongue branding, back heel tab, and midsole decorum.
Completing the look will be the icy-blue outsole and expect the shoes to come housed in special packaging reminiscent of the box used for the latest “DMP” release.
The Air Jordan 6 was originally released back in 1991 and was another model designed by world-renowned sneaker designer, Tinker Hatfield.
The shoe dropped in four OG colorways with the “Infrared” and “Carmine” being two of the more popular colorways to release. The Air Jordan 6 also happens to be the signature shoe MJ wore during his very first title run.
Fast forward to today, and the Air Jordan 6 remains one of the more highly sought after silhouettes out of the entire Jordan lineup and a bonafide classic for those who were fortunate enough to see Jordan wear them on the court during his playing days.
