Here are a few of my initial thoughts after unboxing this New Balance 1500 “Animal Pack”. A full written review of this shoe will be posted after I’ve had more time to analyze the shoe.

• This happened to be my first New Balance 1500 and I couldn’t be any happier with this purchase. I was pleasantly surprised with how well these sneakers looked in-hand.

• The two animal print patterns that appearing on the shoe’s upper work well with the chocolate brown color that makes up the shoe’s upper.

• The shoe’s mesh, suede, and textile materials are all quality and add to this shoe’s premium feel. The cold accents are the icing on the cake and give this shoe a finished look.

• As far as the sizing, I was hoping this shoe fit more like the 997 and 998 and it does. I went true-to-size and the shoe’s fit perfectly.

Where To Buy:

This happened to be somewhat of a limited release that was available from a limited number of smaller retailers. New Balance restocked the shoe a couple of times, but the shoe is now sold-out.

The Black version of this shoe is still available and is a good consolation purchase if you missed on this pair.
