Initial Impressions:

Here are a few of my initial thoughts after unboxing this 998 “Caribbean”. A more detailed review will be available after I spend more time with the shoe.

• Yikes!!! I can’t believe I won an END. Clothing raffle. There must be a GOD!

• A lot of people liked the more limited 990v2 that released along side this shoes, but this V5 model is definitely no slouch by any means. The colorway is a bit more understated compared to its older brother, but works well with the sleek V5 silhouette in my opinion.

• Initially, I thought I’d like the blue laces much better than the creme laces, but after looking at both options, I’m starting to like the pop that the creme laces give the shoe. Ultimately, I see myself getting good use out of both sets of laces.

• It should go without saying, but you know the quality and construction on these joints are legit. More details will be given in the detailed review that’s coming soon.

Where To Buy:

These sold out with the quickness both in-store and online so the only place you can get these is on secondary marketplaces like GOAT, StockX, and Ebay.

You’ll most likely pay above retail, but not by a lot depending on what size you’re getting.

If you’re really considering these, I suggest copping as soon as you can because prices will shoot up as sizes dry up.
