A Stealthy Air Jordan 9 Release To Kickoff Summer 2022!
Anchoring Jordan Brand’s Spring/Summer lineup, is the latest Air Jordan 9 colorway which looks to be a refreshed take on the “Barons” colorway. However, no matter where the inspiration is drawn from, we’re all in for the Air Jordan 9 Retro “Particle Grey”.
Air Jordan 9 Retro "Particle Grey" Design Details
The predominantly black synthetic textile upper hosts grey nubuck overlay panels that appear on the mudguard and go up towards the ankle collar. Moving lower on the shoe, the grey midsole sits atop a white outsole that features the classic Jumpman logo in black located near the heel of the shoe’s lateral side. Red branding adds a brighter-toned finishing touch to the otherwise neutral-toned shoe.

The Air Jordan 9 Retro "Particle Grey" (CT8019-060) is scheduled to be released on June 21, 2022, for $200 on the Nike SNKRS app and at select retailers. If you’re looking for a very wearable and stealthy Air Jordan 9 to add to your Summer sneaker rotation, this Air Jordan 9 should definitely be on your radar.

Even as the pandemic eases, getting your hands on sneakers still isn’t as easy as it was pre-2020.
While I don’t think these will be impossible to get on release day (especially for seasoned shoppers), I do suspect that they will sell out on release day, leaving some empty-handed.
If this happens to you, don’t fret as they should restock in the days and weeks following the release.

That’s hardly the answer anybody ever wants to hear, but it seems like the SNKRS app may be your best shot online due to the limited number of stores that currently show this release on their calendar.
That could change between now and the release, but if the store list remains relatively the same, then the SNKRS app is your best shot.

App raffles are hit or miss, but often times they are the only way the major stores release pairs.
For the other stores that do old-school ticket raffles, they could also be a good option of the stores isn’t ran by janky managers that backdoor pairs.

Generally speaking, the Air Jordan 9 fits comfortably at true-to-size.
I personally wear a US12 in most Jordan and Nike sneakers and I opt for a US12 in Air Jordan 9s.
If I would have to recommend a size, I’d say most folks would be safe sticking with their most common Jordan or Nike size.
