I don’t care what anybody says, there’s just nothing like and all black Jordan 6 and the hits of gold make this a sexy shoe.

Initial Impressions:

Here are a few of my initial thoughts after unboxing this 2020 Air Jordan 6 Retro “DMP”. A full written review of this shoe will be posted after I’ve had more time to analyze the shoe.

  • The first time we seen these, they were a part of the Defining Moments pack that released over a decade ago alongside a Jordan 11 Retro. Fast-forward to 2020 and it’s good to see Jordan Brand bring these back as a general release.

  • I really like how nice and deep the black is on the upper. I’m not sure how long it will keep that look after consistent wear, but makes the shoe look super sleek and sexy.

  • Another thing to note is the packaging. The box is a dual-colored variety with a matte black and metallic gold look. Definitely a nice touch.

  • These were originally supposed to release on January 25, but Jordan brand has delayed the shoe for months. Fortunately, I was able to secure a pair from Offspring, which is an overseas retailer.

  • I”m not sure why, but I generally like to go down a half-size in my Jordan 6s. They seem a bit bigger than a lot of other retros.

Release details

All things point to this being a general release shoe that will be available from most retailers and boutiques. Stock should be high, but demand may be as well, so if you’re interested in getting a pair for yourself, don’t sleep.

how i purchased

Fortunately, I was able to purchase a men’s pair for retail from OFFSPRING which is a European retailer. At the time that I’m writing this, many sources are suggesting that these will release on April 11th after many delays.
